Duting Wkorld War 11 Fala got involved with the War Dog Fund. The Purpose of this fund was to have pet owners for a fee give to the War dog fund and receive a certificate from Fala. All proceeds went to the war effort. Fala explains his experiences in The Memoir of a White House Dog.He is pictured her with the President’s cousin Laura Delano
